Compassion in Jesus' Name is a charity that helps children in poverty with medical supplies, education, and basic needs like food and clean water. Through this program you can sponsor a child through monthly monetary donations and communicate with the child to see how the child is doing. HOPE Family Ministries
This is a variety of ministries which focuses on the homeless. We often work with organizations that put me in touch directly with abused women and their children starting over on their own. Recently we have been packing out kits for homeless women and men to be handed out as needed. I've attached a picture of some of the men's kits in backpacks. We did very similar ones for the women swapping out some of the personal items and put them in purses. The families that we have taken on are usually for Thanksgiving and Christmas and provide food, clothing and gifts enough to cover the entire Christmas. We often have ended up taking on multiple families as the need is so great.
We call this Hope Family Ministries because it is not just one specific Ministry but God willing, many more to come.

Saint Cloud Cares
Church of St. Luke and St. Peter is part of Saint Cloud Cares which is a network of local churches working with Saint Cloud elementary schools to provide food for children at risk of going hungry over the weekend during the school year.

Those volunteering with Saint Cloud Cares gather, organize, load, and distribute shelf-stable food items for children attending the elementary schools in St. Cloud.
